Frequently Asked Questions
Common questions about our equipment, placement model, and service.
We place a holmium laser system in your facility at no upfront cost. You pay only for consumables on a per-procedure basis. We own and maintain the equipment, handle all service and repairs, and ensure the system is always available when your team needs it. There is no lease, no finance agreement, and no depreciation to manage.
Yes. While our placement model is our core offering, we also supply new holmium laser systems for direct purchase through our manufacturing partners including Jena Surgical and Potent Medical. All purchased systems come with installation, operator training, and ongoing service support.
We are the authorised Australian distributor for Jena Surgical Lasers (Germany), the Seplou (urological consumable company focused on disposable devices for kidney stone surgery), Potent Medical, and Optical Integrity laser fibres (USA). Our product range covers holmium laser systems, consumables, and accessories for urology procedures.
We are based on the Gold Coast, Queensland, and provide equipment placement, service, and consumable supply to hospitals nationally across Australia. Our field service team has maintained systems in facilities across multiple states, and we carry stock to minimise lead times on parts and consumables.
We respond quickly. Our team has over two decades of experience repairing holmium laser systems and we carry common replacement parts. Because we maintain the equipment ourselves rather than outsourcing to third parties, there is one phone call between you and a solution. For placement clients, all service and repairs are included.
Yes. We hold common replacement parts and consumables in Australia to minimise lead times. For specialist components, we have direct supply lines through our manufacturing partners in Germany, China, and the USA, and we maintain stock levels based on the systems we have in the field. Our goal is to make sure a part or fibre is never the reason a case gets delayed.
Yes. Our team has hands-on experience across a wide range of laser platforms including CO2, Nd:YAG, Er:YAG, and other surgical modalities (ophthalmic, ENT, General Surgery etc.) — having maintained and repaired over 400 systems across a wide range of manufacturers. While our primary focus is urology, our service capability extends well beyond our own product lines. If you have an existing system that needs support, get in touch — there is a good chance we can help.
Under our placement model, consumables are supplied on a per-procedure basis and typically include laser fibres and any procedure-specific accessories required. We manage stock levels with your facility to ensure supply is always on hand ahead of your theatre list. Laser safety eyewear and other reusable accessories are provided as part of the initial equipment placement.
No. Under our placement model, the per-procedure consumable cost is the cost. Equipment placement, installation, operator training, preventive maintenance, and repairs are all included. There are no lease payments, no service call fees, and no hidden charges. We put that in writing.
We design each placement around the facility’s expected caseload, so there is no fixed minimum. That said, the model works best in facilities with a consistent surgical list. If you are unsure whether your volume suits the placement model, we are happy to have that conversation — in some cases a direct purchase may be a better fit, and we will tell you that upfront.
Yes. Every preventive maintenance visit and repair is documented with detailed service reports, including calibration verification, output power measurements, and safety interlock test results. We provide this documentation in a format that supports your facility’s accreditation requirements and safety audit processes. Records are tracked on our end as well, so historical service data is always available if you need it.
Yes. All equipment and consumables we supply are TGA registered or currently undergoing the registration process. Where a product has registration pending, we make that clear upfront. If you have specific regulatory questions during your procurement process, we are happy to provide the relevant documentation directly.
Every equipment placement or purchase includes hands-on operator training for your theatre team. This covers safe system operation, basic troubleshooting, fibre handling, and laser safety awareness. Training is delivered on-site at your facility using the actual system your team will be working with. We also offer refresher training for new staff as needed — just get in touch and we will arrange it.
